7/13/05: SAN JOSE – Tom Bishop has done a lot of thinking and, despite what Nick Carr says, he’s convinced IT does matter.
Since his days at Bell Labs through his tenure as CTO of Tivoli, and now as CTO of BMC software, he has been trying to get his mind around why we do the things we do in information technology. And now he knows: IT exists to support services of the business.
