Hi, Joe! I've been working on Pollina and Troiani for years now; was even a volunteer in the Genealogy branch of the National Archives here in Washington. But now that I work full-time, the only way to research is on the Net. So glad I found you! Have you told your readers about "The Came in Ships," by John P. Colletta, PhD.?(ISBN# 0-916489-42-6)Dr. Colletta give lively lectures at the Archives regularly. This is a great place to start. Thanks. Buona Natale e Buon Capitano. Vicki Jo

Dear Joe, I have just spend 4 hrs on your web site and absolutly love it. Cant get over all the info on genealogy. I am a very newbie on the subject and having a ball talking with the family and all. It is a sense of family ties again. Once the Grandparents are gone, so were the families, but it seems its getting together again. There are a thousand quesions I could ask you but I will only ask you one. There is a small town in Calabria that was called town of pigs because thats what was raised there. I can not find any info on it except that my Aunt (who has mispronounced may words ect) said it was ST Mauoro. that is how she is pronouning it, not the correct spelling. Any way you can help me? She also pronounces my Grandmothers name wrong cause there is not one single person by that name in all of Itally. The name is Sara. Lots of luck to me. haha Did nt mean to take up so much of your time, but thanks and have a nice day. Alice Minardi Cangemi
