Dear Mr. Kormondy:

My father's name is Joseph Mangarella & my grandmother's name is Catherine Mangarella and my grandmother originally was born in around the year 1912 or a littlebit after after the time of the sinking of the Titanic. My grandmother was born in New York City around the turn of the century. I live in Western Pennsylvania in Cambria County around Johnstown, Pennsylvania which is near Pittsburgh. We did have relatives, I think, but I don't know for sure around New Jersey & New York City. I am the Mangarella side of the family that lives in Western Pennsylvania. It is great communicate with someone who is related to a Mangarella in some sort of way. I know our family is very, very old & I found out on the internet that the Mangarella family is located around the New York City metropolitan area, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Western Pennsylvania, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, Russia (how our family originated in Russia, I don't know and if your mother has relatives in Russia that would be very interesting for me to e-mail & I hope there is a Russian that knows the English language), & Italy. I know our family went back around the 1200's because there is a writtin account about it. What more do you know about our family Matthew Kormondy. How far back beyond the 1200's do we go? How important are they anywhere? What famous relatives do we have that have the last name Mangarella? How much of our family history does your mother knows & why did some of our family went to Russia??? Any more of this information would be valuable to me? Thank you. Please contact me in anyway. I get my e-mail at home it is mattman@forspeed.com. Thank you for your help.

Sincerely, Matthew Mangarella
