My Father's name was Joseph LaCavera. HE was born in Termini Imerezzi in 1904, his Father was Anthony LaCavera, date of birth is unknown, he died in Sicily around 1919. He worked as the Capo Statzione (Head of the Stations) for the Italian railroads. Anthony had a brother named Agostino LaCavera, and he settled in Washington D.C., and established himself as a custom tailor, making clothing for President Harding. Agostino had two daughters, Maria and Rose. Maria never married. She studied art drawing in Washington D.C., and created illustration for various national magazines. She died Maria LaCavera in the mid 1980's.
