When you see the old women sitting in their doorways crocheting around metal rings for window shade pulls & the old men playing bacci ball.The parade of Saints with the statue decked out in money& the Knights of Columbus band playing so loud you'd know they were coming.Your grandfather with his felt hat & black bulky sweater looking like the Godfather & people clearing the sidewalk when they saw him coming. OH! they were the good old italian memories of my childhood in Philly.
